Description
Tekapursil S is a cleaner for removing hardened silicone
110 ml tube
PROPERTIES
Tekapursil S is a cleaner for removing hardened silicone.
• It does not flow, it is a thixotropic paste.
• Cleaned surfaces can be sealed again, but they must be completely clean.
• It is useful for vertical, horizontal and inclined surfaces.
• Removes mold from old regs.
FIELD OF USE
For complete removal of fresh and hardened silicone sealant from various surfaces.
We especially recommend it for the optimal preparation of the surface that we want to reseal with
silicone.
Tekapursil S is a silicone remover that can be used on glass, concrete, enamel, tiles, wood, plastic, brick, plaster and most textiles.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
First, mechanically remove as much of the silicone sealant as possible, and then apply Tekapursil to the rego
S. The coating thickness should be 2 to 3 times the thickness of the silicone residue, but at least
4 mm. Let Tekapursil S react with the old silicone for a maximum of 24 hours. We recommend that you try it
use the product Tekapursil S first on the invisible parts of the surface. After 24 hours, remove the dissolved
sealant and clean the grooves with a cloth and water. For thicker applications, the process must be repeated. If
the surface is not yet completely clean, clean it with the Tekasol Apursil S cleaner.
Operating time
The time required to remove the silicone sealant depends on the surface and thickness of the sealant
masses. If Tekapursil S is used on textiles, leave it on for only 30 minutes, otherwise a stain may form.
