Description
Tekadom Bitumen is
one-component sealant on
based on bitumen. It is used for
gluing and sealing various
materials on roofs.
300 ml
PROPERTIES
Sealing compound Bitumen is a one-component sealing compound based on bitumen. It is used for gluing and
sealing of various materials on roofs.
• Easy to use.
• Does not require pre-lubrication.
• Good adhesion to sheet metal, aluminum, copper, brass, ceramics, bitumen, concrete, masonry,
plaster, roofing brick and roofing cardboard.
• It is resistant to rain and weather conditions.
• Due to its plasto-elastic properties, it tolerates all movements due to temperature
changes.
FIELD OF USE
• Quick repairs of cracks, holes, breaks on roofs and between old membranes.
• Sealing between the membrane and the vertical concrete wall.
• Cracks in bituminous cardboard.
• Sealing of cracks, gutters and joints between concrete, wall, plaster, sheet metal, copper,
zinc and aluminum.
• Suitable for gluing overlapping parts to achieve a watertight joint.
• Suitable for sealing roofs of the "Tegola Canadese" type.
• Sealing of chimney caps.
• Not suitable for gluing polyurethane and polystyrene.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The surfaces must be dry, clean and firm and free from dust. The material can be applied by hand
gun or with a pressure gun, point or in lines. The lines should be 4 cm apart. If
we glue at least 4 m², the consumption is from 650 to 850 g/m². If applying pointwise, count from 50
up to 80 g consumption for one dot. Approximately 10 points are applied per m².
If the old membrane is damaged and there are loose particles on it, they must be thoroughly removed and Tekadom Bitumen applied to a healthy surface. Use Teka Cleaner or Tekafin Cleaner for cleaning.
